About The Founder
I grew up in a small town just north of Fargo, North Dakota. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from North Dakota State University and will graduate with my Master’s degree this spring. Alongside my studies, I work part time at an architecture firm while continuing to build my own design business. A question I’ve been asked countless times is, “Why architecture?” I’m drawn to architecture because it allows me to create something lasting, tangible spaces that become part of people’s lives and history. I’m motivated by the idea of designing work that stands the test of time and contributes to something larger than myself.
I’ve also always had an entrepreneurial spirit, but like many, taking the first step toward starting my own business felt intimidating. In the fall of 2024, I realized that if I continued to make excuses and watch others pursue their goals, I might never act on my own ambitions. Taking that leap meant leaving a stable job, an uncomfortable and uncertain decision, but one that required trust and faith in the direction I felt called to pursue. From that point on, I committed fully: researching, developing a business plan, and immersing myself in the creative process. Once I began, it became clear that this drive, to design, create, and build with intention, was exactly where I was meant to be.
That commitment led to the creation of Moree Design. Founded on faith, Moree represents a mindset of purpose, growth, and possibility. It is rooted in the belief that you don’t need perfect timing or perfect resources to begin, if you have faith and a willingness to start, you already have enough.
